Galaxy A03 Core overview
Samsung Galaxy A03 Core brings competitive pricing to the budget phones with interesting aesthetics while still managing to keep the price low. This is large of a screen refresh of the earlier Galaxy A3 core. It has a large 6.5-inch screen with a drop notch screen, a single 8MP camera, a huge 5000mAh battery, and pretty solid performance. It looks better than it promises, but compromises are to be expected.

Design
Samsung Galaxy A03 Core comes with a 6.5-inch PLS TFT screen with a drop notch design for the selfie camera. It has very pronounced bezels and a chin, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a screen to body ratio of 81.8%. a03 Core has a plastic frame and back and a scratch-resistant front panel. a03 Core is fairly bright and vivid. The phone has top placed a headphone jack and a single downward-firing speaker, which is great for playing media. It however does not have a physical fingerprint sensor for unlocking.

Performance
Samsung Galaxy A03 Core comes with the budget Unisoc SC9863A chipset, making it decently fast. It has an A55 Cortex octa-core CPU paired with IMG8322 GPU, with storage options of 2 GB for RAM & 32 GB for ROM. It also comes with a dedicated expandable memory option slot. a03 Core is running Android 11 Go Edition, the stock edition. The performance feels fluid and decent. It however comes with a lot of preinstalled apps and services, which makes it feel a little bloated. The upside is this particular OS is very customizable.

Cameras
Samsung Galaxy A03 Core comes with a single camera set up, with an 8MP primary sensor, paired with an LED flash. As you may have guessed, the cameras are the compromise that had to be taken for this phone to break the price bottom. The pictures are decent and usable, especially in good lighting. The video can support up to 1080p video at 30 fps. The selfie camera is a similar 5MP wide sensor, capable of 720p video at 30fps. The selfies are decent and usable.

Other features
the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core is inarguably designed as a budget device with the aesthetics of a pricier device. Under the hood, it’s fairly a standard budget device. It still has a micro-USB port, no fast charging, 5W charging speeds, and basic utilities like radio. a03 Core has a fairly sized Li-Po 5000 mAh non-removable battery. It should be more than enough considering it’s a low-power device. Overall, it’s a basic phone, for basic use. No bells and whistles to be expected.
